Gary E. Bryant - Chairman of the Board and Investment Banking Expert

Gary Bryant is the best in the micro-cap, capital markets industry, taking companies public, making deals and getting deals done. Mr. Bryant’s legendary career spans over 40 years , owning a national broker dealer (Anderson, Bryant and Co. out of Oklahoma) and playing an instrumental role in deals such as Pre-Paid Legal, Sonic Boom and over 200 other deals at various stages of the capital markets game.

A founding member of the National Investment Banker’s Association, Southwest Investment Association (Frisco, Texas) and the Southern California Investment Association (Orange County, California). Mr. Bryant currently works out of “the Barn” on his 6-acre ranch outside of Dallas as the President & Founder of Newport Capital Consultants. He is still running with deals like Petro Resources (eventually became Magnum Hunter Resources, NYSE: MHR), Xtreme Oil and Gas (US: XTOG) or Lucas Energy (AMEX: LEI), just like his days as a linebacker for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M football team.

In December of 2006, Mr. Bryant received the prestigious "Founders Award" from the National Investment Banker’s Association (NIBA). In October 2011, Gary will receive a “Lifetime Achievement Excellence Award” from the San Diego Investment Conference at the inaugural West Coast Wall Street Conference in Newport Beach, California.

His access to the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship as well as extensive rolodex of political and business contacts mark him as an entrepreneur to watch at the cusp of the 21st Century.

Grant Bettingen is recognized as a leader in the investment banking and financial community in Orange County. With more than 40 years in the industry, Bettingen was the Chairman and founder of Grant Bettingen, Inc, (“GBI”) a FINRA firm which provided diversified investment banking and securities transaction services, continuously operating in the Newport Beach-Irvine, California area since 1985.

His company cleared through major firms such as Bear Stearns, Pension Financial and Wedbush Securities. In addition to having developed a highly successful independent boutique brokerage firm with branch offices throughout the country and more than 120 registered representatives, Mr. Bettingen built his firm with the distinction of providing financial services including Investment Banking, Money Management, and Financial Planning to high net worth individuals and institutional investors across the nation.

GBI selectively took on the role of co-underwriter and underwriting syndicate member and offered complete investment banking services including corporate finance for public and private enterprises; securities transactions; trading; syndication; M&A; reorganizations; reverse mergers; PIPEs; merchant banking and the knowledge and relationships to attract research coverage and market making support.

Stephen Fryer is the Co-founder, CEO and Managing Partner for SC Capital. Mr. Fryer enjoys significant leadership roles in investment banking and as founder and senior executive of several high technology manufacturing firms. Mr. Fryer is principal and managing director in Ventana International, Ltd., a venture capital and private investment banking firm with operations and investors in the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia. CEO and Chairman of Pen Interconnect, Inc., a NASDAQ company, which specialized in electronic circuit board cable assembly. Mr. Fryer enjoys over 28 years in the computer business in the USA, as well as Asia and Europe and is founder, chairman and CEO of World Comnet, Inc. a public company. Mr. Fryer is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Economics



Richard Gladstone - Advisory Board Member and Licensed Realtor

Mr. Richard Gladstone serves as the Vice President of Gladstone Group Investments, Inc. and is in charge of the business development. Mr. Gladstone has over 20 years of business experience and is an accomplished entrepreneur. Among his enterprises, he was the pioneer of the Sterling Travel Network with over 2000 outside travel consultants. He also served as a principal and a major shareholder in various securities firms specializing in capital market transactions. Mr. Gladstone graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978, after which he attended the Georgia State University graduate business school program until 1980. Mr.Gladstone is a licensed real estate sales associate in Florida.



Mr. Williams serves as a Managing Director of Trinity Equity Partners, Inc., having over 30 years of experience in corporate finance and investment property transactions. Mr. Williams previously practiced law as a corporate attorney in California, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

Mr. Williams background in investment banking includes service on the board of directors and advisory boards for several hedge funds and venture capital firms. He also has extensive experience in commercial and securities transactions including treasury operations, banking, mutual and pension funds, and investor relations. His previous practice encompassed general corporate and business law, merchant banking, finance, franchises, sports and entertainment, real property, and intellectual property issues. He has served as Corporate Counsel for several publicly traded companies and financial institutions and has assisted clients in raising capital and seeking other forms of financing (raising over $500 million in public and private equity funds).

Mr. Williams graduated with honors from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia, School of Law, and he earned a MBA in Finance while serving in the United States Navy.


Daniel K. Donahue - Advisory Board Member AND Coporate Securities and Federal Regulations Expert

Daniel Donahue has more than 20 years of private practice experience in the corporate and securities areas, preceded by six years of experience as a staff attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Dan focuses his practice on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.

During his six years as a staff attorney with the SEC, Dan spent equal time in both the Division of Enforcement and the Division of Corporation Finance. In his private practice, Dan has securities and transactional experience with clients in the United States, Asia and Europe. His experience spans the representation of issuers and investment bankers in financing transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, private placements, venture capital financings and strategic alliances. He has regularly represented clients in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of both public and private companies and advised management regarding fiduciary and disclosure obligations, preparing and negotiating transaction documentation and complying with corporate, securities and takeover laws. Dan receive his B.A. in Economics as well as J.D. from Creighton University School of Law.



Michael J. Miramontes is founder of He has over 30 years of business and management experience with 25 years of senior executive management in existing, new venture and start-up enterprises. Mr. Miramontes was most recently a principal, co-founder and Executive Vice President of, an e-commerce retail business that completed its successful IPO in November 1997 and was later sold to a Fortune 500 corporation in February 1999 for $220 million ($291 fully diluted). Mr. Miramontes possesses extensive senior management and executive start-up experience in areas such as Corporate Finance, Corporate Planning/Development, Operations, Human Resource Development and Management, Marketing, Product Merchandising, Web Sales and Information Systems design, multi-retail store sales, design, and multi-store sales management; and has been involved in several successful public business startups over the past 20 years. Mr. Miramontes received his formal education at the University of Southern California and Brigham Young University respectively and is a certified trainer of Franklin Covey Leadership. Mr. Miramontes has been married for over 31 years and has four grown children.


HANNA WAGARI - Advisory Board Member and Marketing Expert

Ms. Wagari has been Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cardium Therapeutics since May 2012 and as marketing director since October 2010. Ms. Wagari has over twenty years of experience focused on sales, marketing and business development in global brands. Ms. Wagari was Vice President of Marketing at Roex, Inc., a privately held nutraceutical company, from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, Ms. Wagari was Global Product Manager of DKB Household USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Diethelm Keller Brands, responsible for its flagship Zyliss brand. Ms. Wagari began her career with Noevir, a multinational cosmetics company based in Tokyo, Japan, in increasing levels of sales, marketing and business development responsibility from 1992 to 2006. Ms. Wagari earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas in Arlington.



Brian Sidman - Advisory Board Member and Commerical Real Estate and Negotiations Expert

Brian A. Sidman is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Sales at TNP Securities, with a special focus on developing TNP's DST and REIT Platforms For Success. Mr. Sidman was formerly the Director of Business Development for Pella Windows and Doors New York & New Jersey distribution franchise. He received the prestigious distinction of being selected to the Pella Corporation's President's Club, which honors the top performers in Sales and Marketing. Mr. Sidman started his career in commercial real estate investment sales, as a broker at GFI Realty in NYC. Mr. Sidman is a Member of the Executive Association of Greater New York and sits on the Board of Directors for both the Eric Trump Foundation and Pella Windows and Doors NY/NJ. Mr. Sidman earned his Bachelor Degree in Marketing at the University of Arizona Eller College of Business. Mr. Sidman holds his Series 7 License.


Bruce W. Barren is Group Chairman of The EMCO/Hanover Group, which, since its inception in 1971, has concluded more than $3+ billion in financial transactions worldwide as international merchant bankers, representing more than 1,000 separate corporate transactions. He has been honored on more than 50 separate occasions by: the Governors of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania plus New York and New Jersey (in addition to their respective U.S. Senators) along with the Governors of Kentucky and Tennessee. In California, he has received commendations from various municipal and county governments as well as its State Assembly, Senate, Offices of the State Treasurer, Controller and several Governors. Mr. Barren has been listed in Marquis' Who's Who in the World since 1989 where also his academic credentials are presented. These include a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College in 1962 in Accounting and Finance. In addition, he has a Master’s Degree from Bucknell University in 1963 in Finance and Economics plus in 1967 and 1968, two graduate certificates in International Marketing and Finance - with one, from the Harvard Business School and the other, from Cambridge University (Pembroke College) – England.



Mr. Fugler is a global expert and speaker on Entrepreneurship. Delivering education, training, and demonstration workshops on how to go from an idea on a napkin to a stock exchange listing and all the steps in between. Mr. Fugler has been a licensed Attorney for 38 years developing an expertise in international law and finance, international investment and merchant banking. He has also been an Investment Banker for the past 16 of those years being FINRA registered with Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses and establishing offices and providing extensive consulting and guidance to institutional investors throughout Europe and the USA and now Asia.
